The Madrid Health Ministry has confirmed that another person infected with Legionnaires' disease has died, bringing the number of victims in this latest outbreak to 4. The 82 year old man died on November 2 at the Fundación Jiménez Díaz hospital, but his family has only just released the news.

The Healthy Ministry today closed down two more cooling towers in the district center due to high legionella contamination. The bacteria, which has been spreading across central Madrid since mid-October, was this time in a building in Gran Via, 15 and in Alcalá, 19.
